Wildfire Mitigation
Wildfire Mitigation is a 100% reimbursement grant funded through CWDG (Community Wildfire Defense Grant) through the Texas Forest Service, Texas A&M, and US Forest Service. This grant will run through July 2029, with the responsibility to expand the Rights of Way, Easements, and City infrastructure by removal of overgrowth and dangerous fuels that could cause mass devastation from Wildfires within and around our community.
